FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Department of Management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas was ranked 31st overall in research productivity in a study of U.S. and Canadian universities.
Alan Ellstrand, department chair and Charles C. Fichtner Chair of Management, said that the recognition came about through the efforts of the entire faculty of the management department. “Our researchers are among the best and most productive in the nation,” Ellstrand said. “Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this great accomplishment.”
The joint study by Texas A&M University and the University of Florida analyzed and ranked research productivity in the top management journals.
