Names were etched into the sidewalk to the west of the Business Building on Wednesday, as the university’s Sand Hog was hard at work. In 1986, university employees invented the Sand Hog specifically to put graduates’ names into the sidewalks on campus to continue the tradition of Senior Walk.
Before the invention of the Sand Hog, names were stamped into wet concrete by hand.
