The Supply Chain Management Research Center and the Center for Retailing Excellence are hosting the Retail Supply Chain Management Summer Camp July 9-13 on the University of Arkansas campus.

The five-day residential summer camp for students in grades 11 and 12 will teach campers about supply chain management, online and in-store commerce, consumer behavior, logistics and retailer or supplier-related industries. The students will also tour nearby companies, hear from industry leaders and faculty and will take part in business case studies.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for teens who are curious about commerce, retail and the process of business,” said John Kent, director of the Supply Chain Management Research Center. “The agenda is full of tours, talks, activities and project presentations, which will introduce many business practices to campers. It will also introduce them to life at the University of Arkansas.”

The camp is limited to 25 students and will cost $650 per camper. Applications must be received no later than May 25.

For more information or to apply, visit the Summer Camp page or contact the Supply Chain Management Research Center at 479-575-6107.
