Enrollment without the need to fill out an application will be open for Honors College students wishing to take the Forum: Entrepreneurs class taught by Matt Waller, dean of the Walton College.

The one-hour credit course will meet Tuesdays from 5-6:15 p.m. in the Fall 2018 semester at the Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub at 123 W. Mountain St., just off the Square in downtown Fayetteville.

Students are able to register for the class along with their other classes once their registration window is open.

The class will explore the range of entrepreneurs in Arkansas who built Fortune 500 companies from the spark of an idea and those entrepreneurs working today to emulate them. Students will have the opportunity to meet and discuss entrepreneurship with several successful entrepreneurs during the class, to practice networking skills at dinner with selected entrepreneurs and to learn first-hand from the successes and failures of those entrepreneurs.

Forum: Entrepreneurs is another in the Honors College Forum series, which brings top faculty and administrators together with honors students to discuss trending issues. Waller taught a similar Honors College forum class in fall 2017 on Arkansas Business.
